Association between satisfaction and performance in franchise networks: a study from the perspective of correspondence analysis

Objective: to analyze the associative relationship between performance of franchise networks and level satisfaction franchisees, under hypothesis that franchisees has a positive association with network. Methodology/approach: operationally, descriptive documentary research quantitative approach was carried out in 106 Brazilian from 12 different sectors comprising 20,261 franchised units. The data, referring fiscal year 2019, were compiled yearbooks edited audited by Franchising Association Serasa Experian (PEGN). categorical variables used were: (i) network performance, (ii) franchisee satisfaction, (iii) age, (iv) size, (v) rate. Main results: through statistics application exploratory technique Correspondence Analysis, study results confirm franchisee's performance. Theoretical/ methodological contributions: these contribute robustness scientific on franchising, specifically field franchisor franchisee. Relevance/originality: this empirically validates an proposed literature involving context franchises. Social/management also offers managerial input reinforcing importance franchisors supporting their franchisees.
